Product Development Competition Finalists Announced



We had several wonderful proposals submitted for the American Society of Baking's 2016 Product Development Contest.  The judging is complete and we are pleased to announce the following finalists (in no particular order):


Student Finalists

"The Waffle Bar" by Jer Lin Poh, Sierra Mari Jamir, Zinxing Song and Michelle Minh from Cornell University

"Maiasa Biscotti" by Jennifer Eng, Hao Mach, and Jay Mohanka from University of Massachusetts, Amherst

"Blueberry Oatmeal Focaccia Breakfast Squares" by Ian Jolliffe and Harrison Helmick from Kansas State University

These finalists will be working hard to present their final proposals during the American Society of Baking's BakingTech 2016 "GROWTH THROUGH INNOVATION" meeting this coming February 28 - March 1 in Chicago, Illinois.  They will receive an all-expense paid trip to the meeting and will compete for cash and trophies!
