We are an executive retained search firm and we are currently retained by a great client of ours - one of the world's leading providers of yeast and bakery ingredient products - to secure their technical sales manager for Canada.
Due to growth in Canada, our client has asked for us to secure a Technical Sales Manager for Canada. This is a great opportunity for a very dynamic and passionate person to be part of a world class organization which is driven by the passion the company has for the industry. Based on their intimate knowledge of bakery ingredients and yeast, this company truly is "the science behind the art of baking".
This Technical Sales Manager will be fully responsible for working with the District Sales Managers where they will provide technical sales, knowledge, support and service to customers in fully automated bakery operations. This individual will support customer needs in bakery formulas, baking ingredients and manufacturing equipment.
Comprehensive industry knowledge of the mechanized bakery model in North America including process, product and quality challenges.
A clear understanding of bakery formulas, baking ingredients, bakery manufacturing and related equipment, and baking science.
Ability to develop new analytical processes to implement into the maintenance of optimizing quality and bakery performance.
Experience in working in a B2B food environment and operating at a senior commercial level.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Bakery Science or related field.
AIB Graduate or Baking Science Degree.
10+ years in Bakery Manufacturing/Operations Management.
Understanding and utilization of a solutions based selling program.
Frequent traveling (more than 80-90%) is required for this position.
