ARYZTA Americas operates one of the largest specialty bakery businesses servicing all major customers in the retail, foodservice, QSR and convenience store channels.
The Americas Structure includes four operating Business Units: Brazil, Canada, ARYZTA US Baking Solutions and ARYZTA US Consumer Foods, which are serviced by the Americas Central Support Functions covering areas such as Food Safety & Quality Assurance, Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability, HR, Legal, IT, Finance Shared Services, Procurement, Category Management, and Commercialization.

Maintenance Tech I
Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes
•Ensures that our products meet the company’s standards and specifications
•Complete, legible and accurate documentation
•Must understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
•Food Safety and Quality Standard Requirements are being maintained daily
•Must understand and comply with the company Allergen, Food Defense and HACCP policies
•Must communicate with Supervision of any Food Safety and Equipment concerns
•Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the area worked
•Establishes and maintains effective working relationships
•Never abuse equipment
•Work with Supervision and maintenance to maintain equipment in good working condition
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Correct weighing and recording of any waste to be disposed of
•Follows all work instructions
•Perform all other work assigned duties as required by Supervision
•Keep work area and machinery clean
•Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary for task at hand
•Never use damaged pallets
•Must comply with all safety policies and procedures at all times
•Utilize all safety devices
•Report any unsafe work practices or injuries to your supervisor
•Required to maintain a safe and clean work environment
•This position requires basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills.
•Duties and responsibilities include repair and prevention maintenance, set up of all manufacturing equipment, offices, building and grounds.
•Requires knowledge of all hand tools and be able to perform basic welding.
•Mechanic is required to report all deficiencies to supervisor.
•Must have basic trouble shooting skills of all process and packaging equipment to set up lines, start-up and shut down of all machines.
•Assist to eliminate line interruption and report all deficiencies to supervisor.
•Ensure equipment operates safely; machine guarding is in place and proper housekeeping of all work areas.
Typical Work Schedule: FLOATER - Monday - Fridays/Weekends Various shifts
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
•Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills
•Possession of relevant technical knowledge.
•Possess high level of safety awareness.
Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level
•High School Diploma or GED
•Experience in general maintenance or other maintenance responsibilities that would include the ability to recognize electrical, plumbing, and mechanical malfunctions or equipment failures
•Formal training in mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing techniques
•Experience in the food industry
