The Conference Program Committee is comprised of the Society Chairman, the Program Chair and six Session Chairs. The Session Chair works directly with the speakers assigned to their session. It is their responsibility to support you through your preparation process and at the conference. The entire Program Committee will review your work and then submit comments and feedback to you through the Session Chair.

Length of Presentation
Papers presented during technical breakout sessions on Monday and Tuesday should be approximately 35 minutes in length which includes time for a questions and answers period. It is strongly encouraged that each presenter also prepare two questions that can be used to initiate the Questions & Answers Session.
Final presentation is usually a text prepared speech supported with Powerpoint slides (Windows or MacIntosh). Use of Video is also encouraged. (See commercialism policy.) A presentation tip guide has been provided for your use.
The BakingTech 2019 PowerPoint template should be used for all BakingTech presentations. The BakingTech 2019 PowerPoint template will be made available in August.
Presentation Planning Process
The presentation process consists of two steps - a draft of your PowerPoint presentation and a final draft of your PowerPoint presentation. The following deadlines are used by the Program Planning Committee as a means of managing the entire process.
PowerPoint Draft - December 7, 2018
Final PowerPoint - January 25, 2019
The Program Committee uses an electronic means of evaluating and commenting on presentations. All materials should be sent to email@example.com.
Meet posted deadlines for submitting logistical information, registering for the conference, draft presentations, etc.
Use ASB templates when creating PowerPoint and/or Word/PDF resource materials.
Ensure that the content and delivery of your presentation follows what is printed in the brochure and posted on the ASB website. Attendees read the brochure and the education session information, which gives them a reason to attend. They will expect the information in the brochure and online will be what is delivered onsite at the conference.
Be sure you know your audience for this conference and create your presentation accordingly.
Review materials that ASB staff send you and participate in any speaker orientation offerings.

All presentations must adhere to the ASB's commercialism policy. Please do not include industry, trade, or product names in your presentation. Generic terms should be used instead of trade names. Any trade names will be changed to their generic or component name. The use of company or product names as a means for promotions/advertising is strictly prohibited. On Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. we will host a Speaker meeting to review the final details regarding staging and your presentation. We encourage all speakers to attend. If you are unable to do so, please inform your Session Chair.
As you begin to prepare your presentation, you will have numerous questions. We encourage you to either contact your Session Chair, the Program Chair or the ASB office. Questions can be directed to Tawnee Brydebell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
