Dave Schwensen is a nationally recognized comedy coach for The Improv Comedy Clubs with workshops in Chicago, Tampa and Cleveland, and author of six books including “How To Be A Working Comic.” As a talent coordinator in Hollywood and New York he consulted for television networks, film studios and live venues. Included in this list are “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” Comedy Central, HBO, MTV, Disney and many others.
Dave has designed and instructs courses on using humor and creativity to improve communication skills for Cleveland State University, Youngstown State University and other “halls of higher learning.” He is a Pinnacle Award Winner for excellence in learning programs from The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC) for teaching these skills to students grades 6-12.
Dave has been featured on PBS Television and Radio, The Hollywood Reporter, Chicago Tribune, Cleveland Plain Dealer, U.S. News & World Report, InsideBiz.com Magazine and other national and regional publications and broadcasts.
