OVERVIEW

The JobSource Center provides a resume/career position matching service for the baking professional.

Any organization in the baking industry may post their open positions here. Anyone in the Internet community may browse the position listings. All JobSource-registered employers may browse the resume listings. It is not necessary to be a Member of the American Society of Baking (ASB) to access the company listing and browsing features.

JobSource is a free service for all companies in the industry. Any employer simply needs to register to use this product (at no cost), create a profile, and post listings. A company may set up multiple JobSource UserIDs if they want. Each UserID is associated with its own unique profile (handy for posting listings from different divisions which have different contact requirements). A company may choose to present exactly how their information is displayed - from Company Name, to Location and Job Details.

JobSource is also a valuable benefit to any ASB Member looking for a new position. To use this job tool, the ASB Member must first register with the JobSource service. JobSource provides an industry-specific tool to assist ASB Members find positions or to simply monitor job trends. By posting their resumes in the JobSource site, Members are able to target the Baking Industry job market. Again, the ASB Member may set up multiple JobSource UserIDs if they want. Each UserID is associated with its own unique profile. This would allow the ASB Member to present different resumes.

You do NOT need to be registered for this service, be a member of the American Society of Baking, nor do you need to SignIn to view available Positions or to view the list of participating companies. These services are available, free, to anyone in the Internet community.

You MUST be registered through JobSource and you must Sign In to post a position or resume, review the details of the posted positions, and to update/delete those positions or resumes. To post a resume, you MUST be a member of the American Society of Baking. To post a position, you only need to register to use this product; you do NOT need to be a member of the American Society of Baking.

Only JobSource-registered companies may view resumes. Registered employers will have access to all the details of the resume.

Registered users who post their resume, may view statistics for how often their resume is viewed.

REGISTER FOR JOBSOURCE

Any company may register on JobSource. Only ASB Members may register as users of the JobSource system. When first registering, the system will automatically prompt you to enter basic administrative data, such as name, address, email, etc. You will want to be sure that this information is correct because it provides the contact information for job and resume postings. This information is not transferred from or to the ASB Member Management system; it is separate to allow users to customize their information specifically for job and resume posting purposes.

A company may set up multiple JobSource UserIDs if they want. Each UserID is associated with its own unique profile (handy for posting listings from different divisions which have different contact requirements). This allows the company to present positions without specifically identifying their company, or to present each position in their company uniquely.

The ASB Member may also set up multiple JobSource UserIDs. Each UserID is associated with its own unique profile. This would allow the ASB Member to present different resumes to target multiple positions they may be interested in.

When a user first registers, they will be prompted to enter their ASB UserID and password.

Users of the JobSource system will set up their own unique JobSource UserID and password; this identifier is not associated with the ASB Member Manager.

SIGN IN TO JOBSOURCE

Once the company or user is registered, any further use of the system will involve simple sign on with the unique JobSource UserID and Password that they have set up. Once the system verifies the UserID and Password, you will be directed to the Welcome page which provides you with unique functions not available to non-JobSource users.
