I am a student at Macquarie Graduate School of Management University in Sydney,
Australia. I am doing a major assignment on the retail baking industry, which coveres the
so called supermarket in-store bakeries and independent outlets for Australia, the USA and
Europe. I am trying to understand the USA market in terms of consumer buying behaviours,
competitive activity, new trends in supplying product to the customer (the actual
production of dough) frozen raw dough versus mixed and baked on-the-spot, market size and
profitability of the industry. Does anyone have any articles/info that can be emailed to
me or point this student in the right direction from the land "Down Under"?
Thank you. Fax: +61 2 9746 8460
