  • Full responsibility for plant operations including production of Zesta Crackers, Townhouse Crackers, Club Crackers, Sandwich Cookies, Sugar Wafer, Enrobed Products, Graham Crackers, Kelloggís PopTarts, Cracklin Oat Bran Cereal, Rotary Cookies, and Wire Cut Cookies.
  • Installed and started up two soft cookie production lines below budget
  • Improved productivity and reduced daily material and operating variances
  • Reduced scrap levels at three plants
  • Reduced overhead spending and reduced management and employee headcount while increasing productivity and efficiency
  • Develop a reporting system that correct reconciliation of scrap to less than one percent
  • Successfully completed a "turn around assignment" at a northeast plant with 650 union employees

  • All normal manufacturing responsibility with bottom line accountability plus customer service, distribution, warehousing, and co-packing relations.  Line of products included fruit processing, sauce, canning, glass and PET bottle filling, and aseptic packaging of juices.
  • Twenty percent increase in productivity measured in cases per machine hour
  • Justified and hired a Logistics department with resulting improvement in customer service, cost control, production planning, and finished good inventory turns
  • Implemented a "just in time" system for raw and packaging materials
  • Develop a successful relationship with Wal Mart.  Successfully negotiated an agreement for them to pay OSC $154,600 related to a pallet exchange program as well change the pricing agreement to include the pallet cost in the case price on all future orders.
