Director for the Cereals and Cereals Processing Division of CCFRA with responsibility for a team of 45 scientists, technologists and support staff providing consultancy, contract and applied research, training and the development of knowledge-based systems for the international baking, milling, and allied industries.
PERSONAL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Over thirty-five years of commercial experience in the Flour Milling and Baking industries of which the last twenty-nine have been spent at FMBRA/CCFRA involved in research into the materials and processes related to milling and baking. Has provided many international consultancies.
Previous commercial experience includes quality control and technical support in a flour mill, and bread production management and product development with a major U.K. milling and baking group.
In 1998 received the British Baker Special Award for achievement in the baking industry.
