As a new century begins to emerge, new ideas, new technologies and new applications are also emerging that will dictate how we do business in the future. The Program Committee has been working very hard to prepare a program that will explore all aspects of our changing industry. Papers will focus on transportation, engineering, ingredient functionality and product development as well as many other subject.
Topics on Monday afternoon include New Management Systems for Environmental Tracking, Baking on the Internet and Building Design for Ease of Sanitation, just to name a few. New Technologies in baking will be the focus all day Tuesday, with papers on oxidants, temperature and time control, mixing room automation, stress free dough processing and the functionality of flour. Members will receive an update on the Annual Crop Report Wednesday as well as a number of government report on lableling, nutritional education and dealing with OSHA.
The 73rd Annual Technical Conference is looking to be extremely exciting and educational and a way to help us all prepare for the future. New advances in our industry are occurring almost weekly. What better way to stay in touch, stay on top and stay one step ahead?
