Crisis Planning: Face Your Future Panel Discussion

Tuesday, March 3  9:15 AM - 10:15 AM
General Session

Many companies tend to avoid crisis planning — perhaps out of fear that planning for a disaster will somehow invite one. Not true. In fact, securing a crisis plan now could alleviate the possibility for more problems should one arise in the future.

A crisis can crop up from anywhere, be it the production floor, outside the plant or even Mother Nature.  Hear from our panel of experts to learn from one baker’s first-hand experience, and get advice from professionals specializing in crisis planning and management.

Participant Learning Objectives

  • Prepare for a “not in my plant” scenario
  • Ready your bakery for adjusting to unexpected circumstances and surroundings
  • Understand what resources are available to help in a disaster
  • Anticipate long-term effects of a crisis … and how to continuously deal with them
  • Get the basics on establishing proactive crisis communications
